A Thuismitheoirí, a Chairde,
Fáilte romhaibh ar ais agus tá súil agam go raibh Samhradh álainn agaibh agus nach deas é go bhfuil an dea aimsir ag leanúint ar aghaidh fós!
Fáilte Uí Cheallaigh roimh na Naíonáin Nua. Tá siad go hiontach agus go gleoite agus cé go mothaímid uainn rang a 6 i gcónaí nuair a fhágann siad, ar an lámh eile bíonn sé go hálainn an glúin óg a fheiceáil ag tosnú linn.

An Ghaeilge:
As we do each year, we will be focusing very strongly on our tomadh ar ais as Ghaeilge with the children these first few weeks especially. To help us in this process of immersing the children back into Gaeilge, we look for your support in using all the Gaeilge you have with your children, with us and with each other; at home, at the school gates, on the school premises and give our pobal scoile gaelach a healthy start for the year.

Éadaí Scoile
Tá sé chomh deas na páistí a fheicéail dea-ghléasta don bhliain nua. We ask that you would please maintain this high standard, referring to the enclosed Cód Smachta and remind you that red socks should be worn with skirts and shorts (boys and girls)and plain black boots only are only permitted for Rang 4-6, where they change footwear at school.

Cótaí & T-Léinte Scoile
We continue to sell school polo t-shirts and jackets. They are very good quality and you can see a sample/order san oifig le hElaine.

Lípéidí
Ba mhaith linn a chur in iúl daoibh arís go bhfuil géarghá le hainm bhur bpáiste a bheith ar gach rud. ‘My Nametags’ or ‘Stuck on You’ are 2 companies which make identity labels for clothes, lunchboxes etc. If you are interested in ordering go to www.nametags.ie, or www.stuckonyou.biz/ireland. Whatever you use,we ask you to please label everything – it’s the only way for us all to identify your children’s items!

Tiobraid Árann Abú
Ag féachaint ar aghaidh go cluiche iontach Dé Domhnaigh, the children may wear any Tipperary gear, or any combination of yellow and blue, if they wish, on Friday, to set the atmosphere for Sundays big match!

Spórt:
Is iad seo na laethanta spóirt a bheidh ag bhur bpáistí an teárma seo. Pupils should wear the sports uniform as detailed sa Chód Smachta: -
An Luain An Mháirt
Naíonáin 1 (Eibhlín) Naíonáin 2 ( Úna)
Rang 1Naíonáin Shínsear Rang 2
Rang 3 Rang 5
Rang 4 Rang 6

Banna Ceoil
Beidh an Banna Ceoil ag tosnú I Mí Dheireadh Fomhair do pháistí ó Rang 2-6. We will be holding our little auditions in October where the children will be required to play a tune without music. The next few weeks can be used to practise! As you know, our Banna Ceoil has gone from strength to strength each year and is a super opportunity for the children to learn to play music as part of a big ensemble!

Tinreamh
Ar an iomlán, tá tinreamh na bpáistí an-mhaith sa scoil seo. Could I remind you, that in order for a child to be considered “ar scoil” he/she must be in until at least, or by, 10.30am. However, if a child is due to arrive after that time, he/she can be marked ‘ar scoil’ if the Múinteoir Ranga has prior knowledge in writing.

Leabhair
Have you books of any type that you are finished with? We welcome school books and library books at any time!

Fraincís
Tá an-áthas orainn go mbeidh Fanny ar ais linn ag múineadh Fraincíse do Ranganna 3-6. Once again, we are delighted to qualify for the grant for teaching a foreign language in the primary school, and that our wonderful teacher, a native speaker, Fanny Healy Bernard will be returning to take Rang 3,4, 5&6 next week! Bonne chance!

Grainghrafanna na Sacraimintí
If you missed ordering First Communion or Confirmation photographs you can still do so over the coming fortnight ó Elaine san oifig.

Eolas Teagmhála
déanaigí deimhin de go gcuireann sibh an fhoirm seo ar ais go luath. Please ensure you send back the Eolas Teagmhála by return so that we have your child’s up-to-date details.

Cinn Míolta:
In an attempt to prevent head lice, we ask that all children with long hair (even to shoulders) keep it tied and clipped back, and that children never have hair hanging over their faces but wear a bandana, hair band or clips. Míle buíochas.
