Síntiús
On your children’s behalf well done to all of you who have paid this year’s sintiús. The money is being put to great use, for the benefit of all children. If you haven’t paid it yet the amount we are looking for is €50 for 1 child, €90 for more then one. As we know, a euro a week isn’t a lot! If you’re not sure as to whether you have paid it or not please contact Kim san oifíg. Míle buíochas!

Éadaí Scoile an tSamhraidh
Chun a chur in úil daoibh: plain red O’Neill’s shorts (available from Sportman’s Dream) and plain black or white sandals may be worn as part of the school uniform.

Banna Ceoil
Tosaíonn an Banna Ceoil Sínsear ar ais gach céadaoin ag ullmhú anois do na saicrimintí, while the Banna Ceoil Sóisir re-commences on Wednesday, 16th. It is imperative that children practice 5 minutes each day le bhur dtoil a Thuismitheoirí!

Seoltóireacht
As you can see from our Gníomhaíochtaí Breise, we have organized sailing again for the senior classes following on from the past years very successful courses. As adult supervision is necessary at the clubhouse for the duration of the lessons it is imperative that you can do one week’s supervision from 3pm-5.30pm over the period of the course. If you are unavailable, please organize a replacement i.e. childminder, other parent etc! If you would like your child to take part in the sailing course, please specify the Tuesday you are available to supervise, giving your name and contact phone or relevant details of who it is taking your place on your envelope when paying. The sailing takes place at Dromineer Yacht Club and all equipment is supplied, although children usually prefer to have their own wet suit. Children should bring swimming and shower gear. Parents need to organize childrens transport to and from the club. Go n-éirí go geal leis!

Clogaid
If you have a hurling/camogie helmet that your child is finished with, we would like to buy if from you for €20 and sell it on to children who are beginning for the same price! Mile buíochas.

Féile Scoildrámaíochta
Gúimid gach rath ar Rang 5 atá ag glacadh páirt san Fhéile Scoildrámaíochta na Mumhan Dé Máirt seo chugainn, an 8ú lá, in Inis lena dráma Cúchulainn. It is a wonderful opportunity for the children to perform in the beautiful Glór Theatre in Ennis and we congratulate them on having done so well to date and wish them luck in the Munster finals next Tuesday. Gaelscoil abú!

Sult ‘s Spraoi
We have had some enquires again recently from people looking for the school CD ‘Sult ‘s Spraoi’. If you would like one, we have them @ €15 or €20 for 2.

Grianghrafanna Tom Doherty agus Gerardine Wisdom
Ár gcomhghairdeachas agus míle buíochas do Tom agus Gerardine for the wounderful photographs they took for our school website, our new passageway through the old halla, at the Oscailt Oifigiúl agus taispéantas rince. I know that many of you would like to purchase copies of them. Altogether, there are approximately 500 photos so next week we will have them on continuous play from 9.00 – 9.30 agus 1.30 – 2.30 in the old staff room. If you would like to look at them as they are really lovely or order some come along! (Just fill in the order form and pay as you order!) Make a cupán tae while you watch!

Mar fhocal scor, could we ask that you would please ensure your children go to bed early. As the evenings are brighter it is easy to let bedtime slip but the children’s days are busy! A good nights sleep is essential for their health, wellbeing, and ability to learn and enjoyment of the day. Maith sibh!
