Bliots GAA: 125 Bliain ar an bhFód

Dé Luain seo caite, bhí na buachaillí ag glacadh páirt i mbliots iománaíochta i gCloch Shuírdaín. Bhí an-lá acu agus d’imir siad le foinn agus spiorad. Ansin Dé Céadaoin bhí deis na gcailíní ann chun a scileanna camógaíochta a thaispeáint. In a 125 year commemorative indoor blitz, the girls brought home gold! They won the top section for schools in North Tipperary, a tremendous honour for themselves and the school. Maith sibh Coleen Ní Bhriain, Rachel Ní Hoistícín, Zoey Nic Reachtain, Amy Ní Hearnáin, Sorcha Ní Uallacháin, Caoimhe Ní Cheallaigh, Aislinn Ní Bhriain, Kara Ní Mhaolchaoin, Sarah Ní Choigligh agus Becky Ní Chochláin.

Seo tuairisc ó 3 chailín ar an bpainéal:
On Wednesday, we, the Gaelscoil camogie team, went to MacDonadh Park to play an indoor camogie blitz. There were five teams: St Mary’s Covent, Roscrea, an Ghaelscoil, Portroe and Corville in the A section. The first match was the Gaelscoil against Portroe. Near the end we were drawing but then one of our girls scored a goal for the Gaelscoil. As the Gaelscoil continued to play brilliantly we won the next two matches. Then we got to the final. It was hard at the start but we pulled through and won the match. We were presented with a lovely plaque and medals. Then we went back to the school and showed all the classes. That was the end of a great day for the school and we hope to bring back many more plaques and trophys.
Amy, Zoey agus Rachel!
